Eau Claire Dells, with its breathtaking landscapes and serene atmosphere, provided the perfect backdrop for this couple's wedding portraits. Despite the cold, the bride looked radiant in her gorgeous ballgown, made even more stunning by the vintage blue velvet cloak passed down from her grandmother. The groom, equally dashing in his wedding suit, matched her elegance perfectly. The subtle snow on the ground added a whimsical touch to the photographs, creating a winter wonderland effect.

Beyond the Wedding

I love that I make meaningful connections with my clients, and get to see them again and again. I love capturing the many beautiful moments of their lives. After their enchanting wedding portrait session, I also had the honor of photographing this couple and their young son in their home. The family session was a in home session in Wausau. It showcased their everyday love and joy as a family, capturing candid moments and genuine smiles.

Later, we had a very special extended family session on their family’s land. This session was particularly touching, as it included multiple generations and highlighted the strong family ties that bind them. Photographing on their family’s land added a personal and sentimental touch, making the session even more meaningful.

Why Trusting Your Photographer Matters

Having a photographer you trust is essential, especially for such significant moments. This couple trusted me to capture their most important memories, from their wedding portraits to their family sessions. It’s this trust that allows for genuine, heartfelt photographs that truly reflect the essence of who they are.

Why Choose a Wedding Portrait Session?

Wedding portraits are incredibly special because they allow couples to relive the magic of their wedding day without the pressures and time constraints of the actual event. By getting dressed up in their wedding attire solely for photos, couples can create a serene, intimate experience focused entirely on capturing their love and connection. This dedicated time ensures that every detail, from the dress and suit to the emotions and tender moments, is beautifully documented. Wedding portraits taken separate from the wedding day provide an opportunity for couples to choose unique and stunning locations, adding an extra layer of beauty and personalization to their memories. These sessions are also great for so many engaged and married couples. Wedding Portrait Sessions can be for those who decide to do a small intimate wedding, a court house wedding, elope, or maybe didn’t get the wedding photos they hoped for. Ultimately, these portraits become cherished keepsakes, capturing the essence of the couple’s love story in a timeless and artistic way.
