Why We Trust Kelly Jacobi for All Our Family Photos: Client Testimonial

As a Wausau family photographer, I have had the incredible privilege of documenting many significant moments for this wonderful family. From capturing their strong generation of women together after her mom’s cancer diagnosis, bringing grandmother, mother, aunt, and child together for a touching photo session. To moments as a family with young children to photographing their extended family after her mom’s passing, every session has been a testament to their deep appreciation for preserving memories. This family's journey with me started several years ago, and since then, we've created a beautiful collection of photographs that tell their unique story. Their commitment to capturing these special moments has been truly inspiring, and I'm honored to be a part of their lives through my lens.

In a few sentences could you please describe the reason(s) that you decided to work with me?

We have a mutual friend on Facebook who shared your photos online (if I remember correctly, they were engagement or just a couple photoshoot). I love photography and when I saw your photos I fell in love with the images. The color, the look, the mood, the real life feeling (not overly posed). I started following your website and it went from there!

How happy were you with the overall planning process?

I loved the process to prepare for our first photo shoot with you! I am terrible at coordinating outfits so sending the client closet, ideas or images of colors/coordinating outfits, reminders, check ins- all of this helped me to be prepared and worry less.

What was your biggest worry about a photo session prior to the session?

My biggest worry was how my son would behave - he is literally so shy he will hardly speak to strangers. Yet around us he is all smiles and a big goof ball. So, I was scared that wouldn't come through in the photos. You were so great with him - there was no need for me to worry! You brought out his giggles & smiles and it went perfectly.

What did you love most about your session?

KELLY - I love who Kelly is as a person! You make us feel so comfortable & natural that it doesn't feel like a photoshoot. It just feels like we are having fun and being us. Which in turn comes through in the photos. We made memories in our photo shoots with you!

What did you love most about your photos and products?

I have purchased both wall art & an album - I have to say I LOVE both, but the Album definitely stands out!

What would your advise to others be?

Trust Kelly and be yourself- Have Fun!

What else would you like to share about your experience?

Kelly is such a great person- who is exceptionally talented in her photography skills! My mom was diagnosed with cancer in 2019 and I wanted to have a photoshoot with her, my sister and daughter. Kelly came to our home and captured all of us in our element. She has captured my husband and I with our kids and once again returned to my dad's home to capture all of us after losing my mom to her cancer battle. Over those years what she has given to me in her photos are moments I will never forget & carry with me always. When I look at the photo I don't just see us in it - I see & remember the day we took those photos- and I love that!

Reflecting on my time with this family, I am reminded of the power of photography in preserving cherished memories. From the playful laughter of their young children to the heartfelt connections with their whole family. Booking photo session to capture and document a joyful celebration of life and love. As a Wausau family photographer, it brings me so much joy to know that my work has provided them with timeless keepsakes that they will treasure forever. This client is someone who has truly also become a cherished friend. I look forward to continuing this journey with them, capturing more beautiful moments and adding to their growing collection of memories of family photos. Their trust in my work is deeply appreciated, and I am grateful for the opportunity to document their extraordinary journey.
