Senior photos: Travel, baseball, and more!
I recently had the pleasure of capturing a fun and memorable senior session out of state. I traveled from Wisconsin to Northern Indiana for this senior session.
This client knew they wanted a little bit of nature, urban, and most importantly baseball. I could tell as soon as our session moved to the baseball field he lit up, relaxed, and felt at home!
I went a day early to help these clients scope out locations to use in addition to the baseball field. We ultimately decided on a beautiful park with a beautiful path and flowers, an amazing old brick wall with vines, an urban downtown location, and the must have baseball diamond.
It can be nerve wracking for seniors to have a photo session, even if they are excited for it. All of us can get a little nervous about having out photos taken. And for seniors the focus is all on them.
At Kelly Jacobi Photography, I understand that seniors may feel a little nervous or self-conscious before their photo sessions. That's why I go above and beyond to create a relaxing and enjoyable environment for our seniors. From the moment we start planning our session to the moment they step in front of my camera, I take the time to chat, listen, and get to know my clients.
I always encourage seniors to bring meaningful props or incorporate activities they enjoy, such as playing a musical instrument, gardening, or walking their pets. By incorporating these personal elements, we help seniors feel more at ease, ensuring that their true personalities shine through in their photos.
The day of our senior session was full of laughter and fun energy. It was amazing to see this senior get excited and show his talent on the baseball field.
