Wausau Wisconsin Family Photographer

I connected with this mama, who is a talented photographer herself, in a photography forum we are both part of. They don’t live in Wisconsin but they have family here and we scheduled a session for one of their trips back this way. I drove to Northern Wisconsin to spend the evening with them. This was on her family’s land, land she grew up on. We laughed, played, and even took a boat ride to a small island. It was an evening filled with joy, it was so great to capture their family memories.

The beauty of having family photos like this is that we are always moving! This is so great when there are kids. There’s not time to get bored and restless. They are running and playing and laughing. When they need a break I grab sweet and steamy photos of mom and dad! Most of the time kids don’t even realize they are participating in important family photos because we are playing games the whole time! My family sessions are truly full of fun!
