“L & H” Snowy Engagement Session| Wisconsin Photographer

Wausau, Wisconsin Engagement Photographer

I love adventures.

I love little adventures like trying a new food, rearranging a room, or taking a walk at dusk. I also love big adventures! And I absolutely love adding a little adventure to my sessions!

This adventure started in Central Wisconsin for a sunrise engagement session! (The drive from near Minneapolis, Minnesota to have this session with me!) Surprise, we just happened to catch the first snow fall of the season too! Big fluffy snowflakes, it was almost out of a movie! We met before the sun rose on a chilly Wisconsin morning, while the snow fell around us - and these two were here for it! They were as excited as I was for a little adventure.

We climbed rocks and hiked around one of my favorite places both to unwind and to make a little magic; especially for engagement photos! When we were done we drove back to the house and I captured them warm and snuggled, watching the snow continue to fall. It was perfect! One of my favorite things to do with couples is capture them outside in a wonderful place in nature AND all snuggled up or having fun at home! It’s the best of both for your engagement photos! It’s fun to mix up the outfits and the feel of the photos to capture the full picture of what your love and life look like!

Regardless if we go to an outdoor location, capture you at home, or do a bit of both, when I capture a couple my goal is to capture all the love, joy, and connection. I can’t help but smile every time I look at these photos! All the feels…

Did you know I travel for sessions? I have great locations for engagements here in Wausau but I also travel all over the state to places like Madison, Milwaukee, Minocqua, and Door County too! I’ve traveled out of the state and out of the country to capture couples in love! Where ever you may be or where ever you want to adventure to - we can capture your love!
