Motherhood sessions have my heart.

Moms are always behind the scenes. Behind the camera. Moms are selfless for their children and families. We put off things we want or need for the sake of our children. We love our children with our whole being.

That deserves to be captured. Your love and connection deserves to be captured. You deserve to be seen for the amazing and strong mother and women that you are.

When this mom reached out for her session it hit me in the heart. She wrote:

Hello!! I've been dying to get some pictures of me and my daughter because well, mom's never have pictures with their babies it's always someone else and I'm not about to have that happen. I've also been wanting photos of me nursing my daughter since she was born but here we are nine months later, I just want some before she weans herself completely!!!! Thank you!!

Knowing that her daughter would eventually wean herself and that season of their life would be over and wanting to document it now. Knowing she was always behind the camera and not in enough photos with her daughter. Yes! Yes to all of this! I knew this was going to be an amazing session!

I styled her and her daughter with items from my client closet. We started in home for some snuggling shots together in the bed the snuggle and nurse in. Then we went to one of my favorite spots for some outdoor shots. The best of both worlds!
