Adventure in Wisconsin with a Beautiful Couples Photo Session

They drove all the way from the Madison, Wisconsin area to have their couples session with me. They were ready for an adventure!
Although I am a engagement and couple’s photographer that is located in Wausau, Wisconsin I travel for sessions. One of my favorite places is just a short 20-30 minute drive outside of the Wausau area.
It doesn’t matter how many times I am there, the natural beauty of the Eau Claire Dells is mesmerizing. Towering cliffs, moss-covered rocks, and the soothing sound of rushing water created the perfect backdrop for this adventurous session. The couple's excitement was infectious, and we couldn't wait to commence capturing their love story against this picturesque setting.
When we were deciding what to wear for their couples photos we decided to do two looks. A fun beautiful skirt and a more casual look. This client wore one of my favorite “magic skirts”. There is so much flow and movement in the skirt that is breath taking in photos, it looks great on everyone, and fits xs-xxl - that’s why I have dubbed it the magic skirt.
We walked all over the Eau Claire Dells. Starting on the rocks, playing in the woods and creek area, we walked out into the creek water. Then we headed to the beach. This couple was up for adventure, so they rolled and played in the sand, and even got soaking wet in the water! I love getting my couples in the water, it’s not only fun and playful, but it an make for some steamy photos!
As the session came to an end, we couldn't help but feel grateful for the opportunity to capture such a beautiful and adventurous love story. Eau Claire Dells had provided the perfect canvas for our couple to create memories that will last a lifetime. Their love and connection were magnified by the natural beauty that surrounded them, resulting in a photo collection that showcased their bond in all its glory.
