Capturing The “B” Family in Minocqua: Portraits & Documentary Style Extended Family Session
I am a Wisconsin-based family photographer, and I'm here to talk about why extended family sessions are truly special and why you should consider one for your next gathering. Extended family sessions offer a unique opportunity to capture the bonds and connections that span generations, creating lasting memories for everyone involved. I always bring my signature style to extended family sessions. This means we will get a few “tradtional” style photos of everyone smiling at the camera, but by far my focus is going to be capturing you all connecting; laughing and enjoying being together!
This particular family wanted that but also loved the idea of capturing what it’s like when they get together “up north” in Wisconsin in the Minocqua area. They added on a documentary style portion to their session. Together we planned I’d capture them enjoying the water together, then coming in for a snack, and yard games. You can feel the love and joy!!
